5/02/2020  Photo a Day  Tell a Story

When Sherree and I were traveling in the UK in 2006 we needed to go and find this grave  because the Man came from Parkes NSW and at the time Sherree was Principal of Middleton Public School in Parkes named after this young hero from The Second World War.

I  googled  the name of the village and this is what Wikipedia said about Becks Row

Beck Row is a village in Suffolk, England. The village is close to RAF Mildenhall and is home to about 3000 people. Culturally, the village has an old church and a beacon dating from the time of the Battle of Trafalgar. A Victoria Cross recipient, Ron Middleton, is buried in the local cemetery.

Happy New Year

I would like to wish everyone a Happy and prosperous New Year, I hope that we soon get some rain to put out all the fires and give the Firies a rest so gratefully earned .

Last year was not a good year I had significant health issues that hopefully are under control , too many visits to Day Sugery for me.

At the end of October my exhusband and father of our children died after a long battle with cancer, in the end he just gave up he'd had enough.I hope Trish and Tim have a better year this year.

The one bright light in our year was the birth of Zoe Maree a gorgeous happy baby who although she was very small at birth is growing very fast now.

I have heard it said that whatever you do on New Year's Day  you will continue doing all year, I hope to buck that trend as I have done over thirty set in corners and I hate them!
