20/07/2022 A Hug
Zoe giving Molly a hug when she was here recently
Well it could be a postcard , I've had three visitors last week and Tim brought me a new computer (well a less old one anyway) and I've had trouble setting it up which is why my photo day has been missing for a couple of weeks. We went out to dinner one night but it was so cold I stayed home the next night. Tim has certainly forgotten how cold Bathurst can be! Although Di and I went to Orange yesterday and it was absolutely freezing four degrees and sleeting!
The kids hadn't forgotten me since it had been 18 months since I saw them, they were delightful and Molly enjoyed having them to play with and cuddle.
Today I am grateful that my sewing mojo has returned , I have been doing it a bit tough lately and haven't felt grateful about anything! It is 18 months since I saw my Grandchildren (and their parents) but I still don't want to sit on the train for hours
This quilt is for a very young boy and Trish will take it you his "parents" for me. They are friends of hers who foster children and do a good job of it.
I shall try and be a bit more grateful for the rest of the week and at least I have one thing to be grateful for on Thursday Di is taking me down to The Sydney Quilt Show, at Olympic Park it is so much easier for us to get to, and I can use my last Discover Voucher to get in .
Today I am grateful that I had the sense to make a sensible decision about this quilt top. I was going to quilt it myself but it's just too big so I rang Belinda and she is going to quilt it for me.
It is Roll roll Cotton boll one of Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilts made a few years ago and destined to go to Tom and Jayne when they call in here on the way home from Townsville in late September.
I have not been very grateful to anything for a couple of days it is just so cold here and my heating wasn't working! This is today's weather but it has been the same for about ten days and I hate the Cold.
Today I am grateful to Brett one of my sons friends who runs Bathurst Air Conditioning who came and fixed my heating although he doesn't know how long it will last.
