   The lady in the middle of this photo taken at Circular Quay in the late forties is Evelyn Doyle with her two cousins Beatrice and Millicent who were my Great Aunts.

I can remember visiting Aunty Evelyn when I was young, she and her husband Jack lived at Rockdale , Aunty Beattie and Aunty Milly lived not far from us next door to each other. Their homes are now swallowed up by the freeway from the Bridge at North Sydney.

Bathurst Carillon was built in the thirties as amemorial to the fallen from World War 1 , it now stands proudly as Memorial to all the people who lost their lives in all conflicts from WW! to the Afghanistan War.
