"I'm late I'm late for a very important date"  Late is something I very rarely do and I think in all my years of working I was only late three times.

I am combining the two days with one photo , Luke was Baptised on Sunday so all the family was together but Trish is so besotted with her nephew she was happy to try and settle him,Luke on the other hand was sad most of the day because he was teething, he didn't cry much but he was very whingy and sad.

Some very delicate bone china in my cabinet including two cups and saucers that belonged to my Great Grandmother and the Japanese cup and saucer given to me by a family friend over sixty years ago that she had brought to Australia when they fled the Nazis in 1938.

Whist I can't recall a specific act of kindness to my two children I know in my heart I have done many such acts over the years.They have grown into hard working responsible adults of who I am very proud.This photo was taken on Tim's first day at school so I think February 1980 four weeks before his fifth birthday. Trish would have been six and a half and going into first class.

In August 2010 as we were travelling from Memphis to Nashville Tom noticed this place that he had seen on American television so we stopped there for lunch.As was usual in these places we had to wait for half an hour for a table to become available but the dining experience was good and the food was lovely, although like most American plates it was too large.

The inside was very rustic and decorated with old signs and old number plates from all over the world.It is called throwed rolls because every ten minutes they bring freshly baked bread rolls straight from the oven and if you want one you put your hand up and they were tossed to you.Obviously you had to have some catching skills so Tom had to catch ours.The people who tossed the rolls were very adept as the room was very large and not many rolls made it to the floor whilst we were there.Tom thought they would have played baseball to get the skills needed!

  This is my meal it was Ham steak about an inch and a half thick with mash and apple I passed on the Grits.
