Some of the pointy things I use on a regular basis when I am sewing from the top Pins , Awl (this one is antique and has a pearl handle) tweezers, purple thang ( a very handy thing for holding fabric as it goes under the presser foot of the machine) and the very necessary unpick

This is a scarf I was given many years ago , it is a souvenir from the Boston Museum of Fine Arts  depicting a crazy quilt made in New England in the early to mid 18th century.
