                                                         Daddy Day

 This is my maternal Grandfather James Oswald Doyle who was called Daddy Day by his eldest Grandchild (Anne) and by all others since.Unfortunately he died when he was only 63 and many of his Grandchildren were either too young or not even born so have no memory of him.
He served in WW1 and lived the rest of his life with a bullet in the shoulder but he was a successful farmer and was involved in many farming and community boards including The Rice Marketing Board and The Farmers and Settlers Association and Carrathool Shire..
