On this day in 1923 my mother Sheila Maura Doyle was born in Leeton NSW.   These two photos in the late 1940's were taken by my father when we lived at Chinaman's Beach In Sydney.
Mum grew up on the family farm at Wambulgal near Yenda and in 1942 she enlisted in the Army and spent the next three years in North Queensland. After her discharge she married Iain McDougall and had Christine,Louise and Andrew. My parents divorced in 1963 and Mum married Joe McMenamin and my youngest sister Cathy was born.
Mum died in March 2001.
