End of a generation

Yesterday we received the sad news that Aunty Eileen had died aged 92, she was married to Mum's youngest brother Jim (who died in 1994) and the last one of her generation in our family.

I'm not sure how long ago this photo was taken but I'll guess in the early nineties and they are sitting in Aunty Kath's dining room in Wagga Wagga.

from left is my mother Sheila (d.2001 aged 78) Cathy (d.1998 aged 40) Aunty Kath (d.2016 aged 90).
and standing behind her daughter is Aunty Eileen who died yesterday aged 92.
Four very strong women in this photo.

We were in the venue we had my mother's 70th birthday one week shy of twenty five years ago which gave us all some emotional moments.

This was taken the next morning just before Trish and Simon left to go back to Sydney, we don't get together enough with work schedules etc.
