I have bought myself a Christmas present from Stephanie a fellow SCQuilter from Canberra, I just have to work out who I can get to pick it up for me.It will be my portable sewing machine as I won't take the 440QE away from the house.

I need to finish this Christmas present over the next week it will be a table runner and four placemats.

Then I will clean my sewing machine and sewing room and go into read mode for a few weeks.

Happy finds

Ever since my mother died in 2001 Trish has been looking for her Coconut Ice recipe as she used to help Mum make it for the school fetes etc.. Recently I was in Wagga Wagga helping pack up my Aunt's home when I found these two scraps of paper with recipes hand written by Mum probably years and years ago.

I have finally put this clock together, my friend Del gave it to me about 2 months ago (or maybe more) and after ordering the double sided adhesive from the US  I then put the project on hold but his morning I tackled it.Not a very good photo when I get it on the wall I will take a better one.

Keppel Street Bathurst looking down towards the Railway Station  with all the old light standards lined up like sentinels. Keppel Street has lots of cafes ,gift shops and the Library, Art Gallery and is a stone's throw from my home.

These two paintings of Paddington terraces belonged to my Grandmother who gave one each to her two daughters . Mum gave me the one she owned about 25 years ago and I lent it to Aunty Kath so the paintings were reunited.
