Murphy aged about 11, he was a rescue dog I have had since June 2006 . he has many health issues including having epilepsy fits occasionally.All he wants from me is love and cuddles as soon as I sit down he is on my lap however he knows that he can't when I am at the Computer or sewing.

This is what keeps me very busy from now until mid June as each tree loses it's leaves at different times, these ones are from my own tree but I have many deciduous trees around me neighbours and on the footpaths.

My sewing history

Today I have been going through my linen cupboard and being quite ruthless with old stuffs! However I am emotionally attached to this old apron made when I was in sixth class at Neutral Bay Primary School in 1959. I gave it to my mother for either her birthday or Mother's Day which were close together, I think my stitching is pretty good for an 11/12 year old.

I love the detail on this blue tongue lizard's markings , he wandered into my courtyard last week and had to be moved for his own safety as I have three dogs which pose a threat to this species.

 I have made these four table runners in aboriginal fabrics for Tom to give as gifts to his friends in the US when he goes there next time. They all have the same backing and the tops are slightly different.

Out my windows , these are photos taken out of two different windows of two different trees on different sides of my house . These trees are about to cause me three to four months of work collecting and disposing of leaves both inside and outside the house.

As a quilter Geometric is really a no-brainer as our daily lives are consumed by geometry, I made this about four years ago from a jelly roll and it is still not quilted

Red is one of my favourite colours and red and white quilts are among my favourites, I have had this design in a folder on my computer for a few years now and one day I might make it and I won't have to buy any fabric for it as I have a red and white collection.This design was in an American Better Homes and Garden Sampler Magazine ?2010 or 2011.
