A Fun Day

After all the heartache of the last fortnight my sisters and one brother in law took the young children (and older ones) to Southbank in Brisbane to see this old ship.

David Edward Ousby 14/07/1976 - 13/06/2015

David was my eldest nephew the son of my sister Louise , he tragically died on the 13th June and will be missed very much by his children,parents,siblings and the extended family.

This is the River Walk in San Antonio Texas , absolutely beautiful walk and lots of shops, eateries and bars. Very touristy!

As I am quilting on black fabric with black thread the light today is very poor so I think I will have to attack this basket of ironing and maybe even do some housework!

Tomorrow I'm off to Sydney for the Quilt Show with three of my friends for the day,which means an early start but no one  has to drive we are going on the train.

Littering disgusts me and always has , why can't people put their rubbish in a bin.I get very sick of picking up empty and half empty beer and wine bottles in my yard (I don't live far from hotels ).
