This is a twelve week old Blue Heeler Pup named Farmer he is a lovely boy and enjoyed playing with the kids on Monday but he did need some rest in between.

This table runner was made as a result of a challenge set by Pennie after the Sydney Quilt Show Dinner in 2003 and has been used constantly ever since.On the back is the emails sent by Pennie giving the details of the challenge which was the name of the block Beacon Lights.

This photo taken on the corner of William and Keppel Streets in Bathurst and three blocks down to the Railway Station. In case you are thinking the light in the middle of the roundabout is different it is just facing the other way because William Street is the main street of Bathurst.

 My favourite jams are Quince Jelly and Apple Jelly , this is my current jar a birthday present from Julie and I am enjoying the taste of it when I have toast for breakfast (which isn't very often!).

The taste brings back many memories because my mother made lots of both every year and I often think I should but the thought passes quickly and I go back to just buying some.

I see some very special washing on the line yesterday I have carefully looked after these knitted and crocheted layettes for forty years and they will be going to Sydney soon for my first Grandchild due in December.

I am probably showing my age but this album was released fifty years ago last month yet it seems like only yesterday.1965 was the year I did the Leaving Certificate and the last year that examination was held , it was the first year of the School Certificate and this group went on to become the first students to sit for the Higher School Certificate.

Sunlight didn't happen in Bathurst until just after 9 o'clock this morning just as Weatherzone predicted! It looks like being a nice day and it's Monday which patchwork day anyway.

Fitness is in the air in Bathurst today as the Edgell Jog is underway this is the tail-end mainly families, I took this photo at 11.45AM and they should get to the Courthouse by Midday to be in the draw for an overseas trip. The traffic controllers are on most corners for safety reasons.
