Kings Parade is a park in the middle of Bathurst that used to be the Town Square , it is between the Anglican Cathedral and the Courthouse.
It has a Boer War Memorial and this Carillon was built to remember those who fought in World War One and subsequent wars. The gardens around the Carillon are adorned in White crosses and Poppies knitted by Bathurstians to commemorate the Centenary of the Gallipoli Landing 25/04/1915.
A very unexpected lunch yesterday , whilst getting some groceries in Coles yesterday I came across this dozen oysters marked down to seven dollars .They were delicious as are oysters at any time I love them.
A little Easter decoration , the Champagne glass belonged to my mother and she always filled it with the small eggs for her children and grandchildren , the other eggs were given to me by my good friend Joy over the years.
