I have been rather busy over the last couple of weeks but I have now finished an eye spy quilt for GS  Luke and four table runners in Australian prints for Tom to give as presents to his friends in Texas.

This little beetle is smaller than 1 cm and they are flying around my house inside and out. It is the Elm Tree Beetle which has infested all the Elm Trees in Bathurst . I do not have an Elm Tree but my next door neighbour does and there are two others in my small street.They only eat the leaves of the Elm trees and sceletonize the leaves thus making the trees vulnerable to disease such as Dutch Elm Tree disease.
