In 2006 when Sherree and I were wandering the streets of Rome we came across an exhibition celebrating 40 years of Valentino's Fashions, this is just a small sections we spent hours there it was so good.

And another one bites the dust

I finished this quilt at the weekend , it's another Bonnie Hunter design called Carolina Christmas .It is for Tom and Jayne's caravan and is the third UFO completed so far this year with just the binding on another one.

I am feeling a bit pleased with myself and there are only thirteen more to quilt but they can wait until another time.

I feel the need for a new project and as I bought Jenny Bowker's Shimmering triangles pattern last year and the fabric is coming from my stash so no shopping involved I am ready to start.

This is the corner of Elm Street Dallas Texas , the building on the left is the Book Depository.On the 22nd November 1963 the motorcade with President Kennedy turned left in front of this building and he was shot and killed not far down the street. There is actually a cross on the road to show where he died.
