It is too cold in Bathurst for any sign of spring as the frosts have been anything up (or is it down) to minus four.

My sister Louise posted these photos this morning on FB and it is the Botanic Gardens in Akueyri in Iceland ; why someone who hates the cold as much as she does is visiting such a cold country is beyond me!

We came across this Memorial by accident and then spent hours there it was so interesting.There were more men lost on D.Day from this small town in Bedford Virginia than any other place in the USA. But it was all about all the allies who took part in the D.Day invasion 73 years ago yesterday.
