Thank goodness for Google  these are the bones in our feet ( I also have 4 screws in my left ankle).Did you know of the 206 bones in our bodies there are 26 bones in each foot-that means a quarter of our bones are in our feet.

And to add some interest here are some feet from my home

18/02/14   Photo a Day   Magic

A tough subject today and it's taken me nearly all day to think of something but as I was talking to my friend Judy it came to me-the reason being that her father worked at Disneyland and she has many fond memories of visiting there.

16/02/14  Photo a Day   Create

I must look out this UFO and finish it, the design was from the fabric designer ( can't remember who) and of course the fabric is all about Clarice Cliff pottery. And that is all about memories as I had a couple of old Aunts when I was a child who used their dinner set like this all the time.

Hexies and POTC

For those non-believers this means hexagons and patchwork of the crosses, I started this hexagon quilt  last July and the POTC is a new project, why? because I can! I sew one project one day and then the other I haven't used my machine much lately.

When I went to the Sydney Quilt Show last year I really liked a few of the hexagon quilts using civil war reproduction fabrics so I started yet another hexie project. I didn't have to buy any fabric as I have a huge collection of them.

Patchwork of the crosses using two different Moda ranges that obviously like each other , again I did not buy any fabric just went shopping in my stash. I am using the inklingo method here not paper piecing.

15/02/14  Photo a Day   My choice of drink

Whilst I sit and sew I drink Coke Zero  or filtered water.
