Today is Murphy's birthday and also the anniversary of when he came to live with me after being rescued from his previous home where he was badly mistreated.On my mind is  why do people have pets and then mistreat them? Murphy will run and hide if I pick up a broom/rake or anything that resembles a stick and likes to be next to me 24/7.No matter where I am Murphy stays by my side and asks for nothing else in return.
